Can I book you for my event?

Absolutely, the band has played all types of celebrations including birthdays, weddings and garden parties and we can tailor the music to what you need. Simply drop us a line using the contact us form or email us a retrotonicband@gmail.com

How loud are you?

We can tailor the volume to your requirements using our professional setup.

We don’t have a bassist or drummer which means we can work at all types of volumes, whether you require background music from us while you and your guests are talking, through to cranking it up when you want to sing along and dance.

How much space do you need?

We can work with what you have. We have performed at private properties; inside for birthday parties, or outside for summer barbecues, or in marquee’s and country houses for wedding celebrations, or inside small country pubs or outside on large bandstands for music festivals.

Coupled with how we control our sound, it is something that makes what we do very popular when people are booking live music for their own private event.

What music do you play?

Being RetroTonic we play tunes from 1950’s / 60’s / 70’s / 80’s / 90’s across all types of genres using an acoustic and electric guitar, saxophone and 3-part harmonies.

We have picked songs that are diverse for a reason - so we can entertain, for example, your guests arriving for an afternoon wedding breakfast with the songs of Etta James (At Last), Aretha Franklin (Say a Little Prayer), Lionel Richie (Stuck On You) etc or afterwards when they want to push the tables back and want to dance to Abba (Dancing Queen), Tina Turner (Simply The Best) or Guns ‘n Roses (Sweet Child ‘O Mine),

What long do you play for?

Typically we play two sets of 50 minutes each plus a 20-30 minute encore.

Our set up also allows you to play your own playlist before, in between and after the two sets through our PA so you don’t need a DJ. Also, you can use our microphones and PA to make any speeches you would like to make at your event.
